Liam Oke

Liam was a full term baby born by emergency c-section May 2009. Initially, the doctors were unsure if he would survive, but Liam proved to be a little fighter. After spending his first month of his life in the NICU, Liam was ready to come home. Liam was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy as a result of his traumatic birth experience (lack of oxygen to his brain).

Liam began weekly Physio and Occupational therapies when he was 3 months old, weekly Communication therapy when he was 2 years old, and he began weekly massage therapy and chiropractic when he was 2.5 years old. Liam will be attending his first session at Ability Camp January 2013.

Liam may not be able to talk, walk, crawl, or sit unassisted, but he’s a very happy little boy with a very infectious smile. Liam loves music – especially Kid Rock! He also enjoys watching tv, petting the kitten, reading books, and interacting with the rest of the family whether it be singing songs or playing with toys.

Liam lives at home with his parents, 6 year old sister, and 11 year old brother.
