7th Annual Mixed Slo-Pitch Charity Baseball Tournament
June 16, 2012 – June 23, 2012 (Rain Date) – 8am to 6pm – West Park – 1210 Ravenshoe Sideroad, Keswick, Ontario
In appreciation of your support towards our organization we would like to present to a personal invitation to our 2012 Mixed Slo-Pitch tournament to offer you an Early Bird Registration for a reduced team registration fee. The reduced fee is $275.00 per team and the offer is valid up to May 15th, 2012. If you are interested all we ask is for your team to provide a minimum deposit payment of $100.00 and submit a completed and signed Registration form. After May 15th, 2012 team registration fees will increase to $300.00. In addition your team registration package includes a Three Game Guarantee with three girls minimum per team and minimum age of 16 to play.
The event carries tradition of supporting our Special Needs kids with all net proceeds offering financial assistance for the much needed therapies they need. The goal is to get every child with Special Needs to the extreme of what they are capable of doing and to give rise to awareness, education and knowledge of the struggles that children with disabilities and their families are challenged with.
The tournament is all about fun and this event promises to be a day full of entertainment and relaxation. Our kitchen crew will be offering the customary pancake breakfast and barbeque lunch. Be assured the Beer Gardens will be open to enjoy some ice cold refreshments to mingle with your friends and enjoy some great musical tunes. As always we will be hosting our Bert Craven Friendship baseball game for all kids of all ages and abilities. All we ask is that they bring their big smiles and have a lot of Fun!!! Once again expect to see our annual raffles and draws.
This year we will be introducing a new award for the two Championship teams. Team Captains will be asked to provide to us one Most Valuable Player (MVP) from their team, which is to be voted by their peers. Expect to see our line-up of casual wear sporting the Give A Miracle A Chance logo. These are quality shirts and jackets in a variety of colours and sizes at affordable “buy it now” prices.
On the registration form we are asking for your feedback to define which Division is the best fit for your team. As in past years we have styled the Divisions to four levels from “A” up to D Division which are scaled from a “D” family style type team division up to an “A” for a higher level competitive team division. Your feedback is important to us as it allows us to put our best effort forward to place teams into Divisions that will equalize the playing field.
